MOLD

We have mold in our closet, bathroom and front room- the mold man is coming to our apartment today to let us know what has to happen.

This happened to my boss and it took 2 weeks to knock down walls, remove it and re build everything. We can't be homeless for 2 weeks!!!

I'm so nervous for 12pm. Pray for us...even though its pretty certain we'll be living with DH's family for a while.

no- the dumb as$ landlord upstairs does. He thinks that knocking down walls, removing mold and rebuilding the closet and bathroom is going to cost $1,000. He's really not bright.... and we told him about the mold 2 weeks ago and a guy is just coming today.

omg, im sorry for venting but I'm so livid. Last night when we went to clean out the closet the mold had gotten on our stuff. I went OFF.

vent over...for now haha.

update: kicked out of our apartment so they can 'clean' up the mold... now drunk at a bar at 3:04 pm, but still technically 'working' at home. horrible day.

do you have renters insurance? if so, they may be able to cover your cost at a hotel....

its worth calling

i would also talk to your landlord and make sure that rent this month is pro-rated

mold sucks!
