Monday NWQOTD

In 2009 and for the very recent newlyweds, our focuses were on the wedding, what are you focusing on for the rest of 2010?

eta: I am focusing on having a family and hopefully getting the house that we have been waiting on!!

well we just got the house...so our focus, is enjoying the house, and making sure we are able to pay for it!!

oh and mine is convincing DH we should focus on started a family earlier than what he thinks! instead of like dec/jan..i want to start like...now! LOL

We have been remodeling our house alittle at a time, so that has been really awesome. We also want to pay off some credit card debt by the end of the year.

I'm focusing on moving to California and starting my PhD program. All I can think about is getting out there and the awesome adventure the next 5 years are going to be!

i just got a new job and start next week...and we move into a new apartment Aug 1st. So I will be really busy focusing on those things. Then hopefully we can start house hunting at the end of the year.

On my to -do list right now
-Tying up wedding loose ends (album, framed pictures, thank you cards)
-Open a joint checking account
-Work on my Spanish (we might go to Spain on vacation next year)
-Get my post wedding chop

This summer I'm planning on enjoying all the beautiful parks and beaches on LI/NYC and a lot of sporting events/nightlife. I didn't have a lot of free time planning my wedding so I want to enjoy everything now.

We bought a co-op when we were engaged and babies are not on the radar for at least 2 - 3 years.

We bought our house just before the wedding (5/30) and now we are just working on painting and decorating it and making it our home. We are also working on getting our finances in order (its a lot harder than I thought combining everything!) and also paying down some cc debt.

Well we're doing a TTD shoot hopefully at the end of July so I've been coordinating that. And then of course once we get the proofs back (Hopefully withing the next two weeks) we'll (or I'll ) be working on the albums and everything. Then we'll be taking our real honeymoon (Without all of DH's family!) in September so we're planning that as well. And then there's tons of weddings, birthdays, graduations, engagements, etc. that we get to attend. Other than that, we're just enjoying being free of wedding planning- going out to dinner, to the movies, for drinks- all the stuff we gave up doing to save $$!

I am focusing on starting my new job, and not much else. Relaxing, taking it easy...working on our marriage. We probably will not be getting a house this year, or starting a family, so this is a lull for me, just kind of a transition limbo period.
