We don't typically fight about money, but since we are in the process of buying a home, we did have one NASTY fight having to do with the fact that the taxes on the house are more than he realized them to be (causing our monthly payment to be a bit higher). Yelling ensued, phrases such as 'do you want to buy this home or not?' were thrown around, all followed by the silent treatment.

The next day we both apologized and agreed that this could be one of the first hurdles we face as we become homeowners, so we really need to stick together as a team and not beat each other up because we're going to need each other!!

buying a house is sooo stressful. Stick it out! It's worth it. DH and I had quite a few fights through that and renovations. we survived

I heard the #1 thing that couples fight over is money, although luckily we don't. DH is a very hard worker and I'm grateful.

The only things we've argued about recently is my MIL. I'm sure MIL arguments are like the #2 thing couples argue about

yea i think its money mainly because its bills and how everyone is spending money. DH and I fight over money but just because I like to know exactly how much we are spending, when and why. We want to save money for the future so its good to keep a record of how much we are spending. DH likes to spend and think about it later ha. But we have worked it out and only fight every once in a while. But it doesnt bother me. Everyone fights over money, kids and their parents, siblings. Even when you have a ton of money, you still fight over money.

Our fights are over money (because he has champagne taste with a beer money budget), and my driving. I'm not the most patient driver, and we usually argue over the fact that I apparently drive like a maniac
