Just thought I'd let you all know that sunday (10/27) is Mother In Law's day. My MIL called up last night to let me know.

Re: Mother In Law Day
Im also jumping in the boat! My MIL feels that I stole her baby and she can still control him. He doesn't want to discuss it...but I can't stand the manipulations. My in-laws also barely left their seats at the wedding. My family, on the other hand, was cutting up the rug and having a grand ol time. They are so opposite. My in laws don't even have a picture of our wedding in their home...but there is one of the DOG!

Kim;
I did a search on Google, and it says it's celebrated the 4th Sunday in October, so I guess she didn't make it up.
If you do a search, you'll find sites that let you send virtual cards, flowers, etc.

Cindy/Sam:
Until the wonderful inlaws trip themselves up,your husbands will never 'deal' with their families respectively. Have faith ladies, because I had a WILD weekend of drama with the inlaws (my DH's SIL spread a rumor about me thru her family and my DH's- generated by her and MIL - that I was cheating on my husband with the guy who is doing our refinancing!). He exploded and went off on his entire family. He's basically cut them off because they gave him an ultimatum - them or me. They should have known never to back him into a corner. So now he wants to move out of state because he never wants to see them again. I can't believe Santa came early for me this year! Thank God he finally sees things clearly and ADDRESSED the issue himself! Coincidentally, the refinancing guy happens to be DH's SIL's sister's husband and he knows that I would never even go there. So you can see the extent these people will go to to get to me, not only was she trying to destroy my marriage, but her own sister's as well. That's messed up! I can't understand people, but thankfully he understands what I've been going through with them and is in agreement that I should never have anything to do with any of them ever again. He feels so guilty that he never believed me before. It's a great time, but it's also so sad because my husband feels like he's been cut in two and betrayed beyond words.
