mothers day gifts

Whats everyone getting for their mothers / mother in laws for mothers day?

I was going to just go with the rest of DH's family and take his mom out to a restaurant. I doubt we will get her a gift, unless DH knows something he wants to get her. I just don't have the money to splurge on her lol

As for my mother, she wanted to go to NJ to check out this vintage flea market place. I may take her Saturday. She gets whatever she wants. I'd go bankrupt for her.

I was thinking of just taking them out either together or separately. I dont have the $$$ to take them out and buy gifts.

MIL will def. expect a gift if we are taking her out. And shes sooo hard to shop for so Im stuck. She's a whiny 2 yr old

For my MIL, I have no idea what we're buying her. DH has to figure it out LOL!

For my mom and grandmother, I am doing the cooking on Mother's Day and having my parents, grandmother & brother over. I am also thinking of getting my mom tickets to a concert or show. I know she used to love Tom Jones when she was younger. He is playing at Westbury Music Faire this summer so I am going to ask my dad if he thinks she'd want to see him now.

I want to say it's called Summerville, NJ. It's a small town that has a whole bunch of stores in this little area that sells all types of vintage antiques.

I posted about it once, but I can't find the info. If I get a hold of my mother I will ask her and post it. :)

DH mom is evil and DH refuses to get her anything, and I am fine with that.

For my mom we are buying her an outdoor porch swing/glidder. The one she has is old, and she loves to sit outside on the swing and read.

Do you mean Smithsville, NJ? Where there are like small shops all in a small area and they have cute little signs and stuff for the house.. and an old candy store and a small lake/pond thing. If this is what you mean.. I've been there and they have the BEST soap shop called Little Egg Harbor Soaps.
