MrsJuneB2B

I made the Garlic, Thyme and Pepper Braised Chicken Breast over Brown Rice. It is now on DH's list of favorites. It was really good and not hard to make. I will be doing it again. It took me a while to find Mrs. Dash, since I had no idea what it was, but YUMMY!!! Thanks for sharing it.

I LOVE OUR NW COOKBOOK!!!

I <3 Mrs. Dash!!!! I have the original and the onion/garlic one. Used to have the tomato mix one but used it a few too many times over steaming pots and it kinda... solidified.

I grew up in a house where my mom never put salt in anything, and DH has high bp so mrs. dash is wonderful!

Re: MrsJuneB2B

I need to give you the best way I've learned to cook eggplant. OMG it is so friggin delicious it's unbelievable!

I had leftover eggplant already cooked from yesterday's pizza I made, as well as some leftover mushrooms, and I literally just stuck it into my turkey meatloaf tonight and it came out better than any meatloaf I've ever made before. I always make turkey meatloaf similar to the way I make meatballs (basically, one package of ground turkey, 1 egg, onion flakes, worcester sauce, italian style breadcrumbs -- i use panko) and then just make balls and bake for 30 minutes. But I never make meatloaf. I just added some of my favorite marinara sauce into the recipe and then shaped it into meatloaf shape on a pyrex baking dish and then coated the outside with the same marinara sauce and baked it at 350 for an hour.

OMG so delicious.

Anyway... my point is... do you want my eggplant recipe for the NW cookbook? Or is that silly since it's a side dish?
