My Bedroom Furniture Situation!

A few months ago I had posted about a problem I was having in getting my Armoire closet. Here is a review of my situation…I ordered my bedroom furniture from Roma2000 in april (got married in July) and I got it delivered in June right before my wedding which was great but the Armoire closet hadn’t come in because that was coming from the warehouse in Italy. So every time I called I felt like I would always get the run around, first they told me I would get it in late July, then late August, then Late September, then Late October and now they said they are expecting it in late November. So you can imagine how pissed I was every time I called and they would tell me how someone would return my call but they never did. Well one day I had enough and really lost my temper and was yelling at them on the phone and said that either I speak with a manager immediately or I come into the store and cause a huge scene in front of all their customers, Not only do I speak Italian but I’m Sicilian and that’s worse because we are known to be loud pain in the asses. Finally I got to speak with a manager and my husband and I went last night and what the manager said she could do was two options 1. Give us another bedroom set which they have in stock and can deliver right away or 2. give us just the Armoire Closet which is not the one that comes with our bedroom set but it is the same color and it’s pretty plain so it shouldn’t clash. It's similar.... We opted for option 2. I did not want to change the whole bedroom set that I love so much! It’s a closet and if this one is similar to my furniture than I’ll take it. Hey at this point I’ll take anything. I need a closet to put my clothes away in. All other rooms have tiny tiny closets and we need a bigger one for our clothes which right now are all over the bedroom Uggh! So we’ll take this one until one day our original comes in … LOL and they are delivering this new one in on Monday and we never paid the balance of our bill cuz we never got the closet so now when this new one comes in the manager said to only pay half of the remaining balance and they will pick up the tab for the other half. At least we got compensated for all the inconvience they put us through….

My girlfriend had a smiliar problem (with them also) with a sectional but it was the whole thing that was almost a year until she got it!! Much longer story than that, but they seem to have problems I guess. Glad your problem worked out, even though it took so long.

I don't understand WHY it took so long for them to help you clear this up? I would make a complaint to the BBB about the company. There is NO excuse for the run around for sooo long.

Michele...what is the BBB?
One of my husband's friends at work ordered her dinning room furniture from them and she said it took them 6 months until she finally got it. She was like 'i feel your pain'...LOL
