here's an 'only in NY story' for ya....

my boss and his wife (of 4 years) shared a cab to work today and a crazy sikh cabbie married them! out of the blue!!

my boss walked into the office with a bright red scarf in his hand...i go 'nice scarf' and he goes yeah we just got married in a cab...i'm like what!? he starts detailing how the cabbie married them, and gave my boss a small dowry of plastic goats and then gave him a red scarf and when my boss tried to return it, the cabbie wouldn't accept it.

i love bizarre stories, makes new york that much more unique!
