MY CHRISTMAS MIRACLE
I got a call last evening from my hubby about 4 p.m. as I was getting into my last hour of work. It was a long day and I was super busy. I couldn't wait for the day to be over and go home and decorate the tree and wrap the presents. My hubby and I have both been working like lunatics and hadn't had much time to prepare for Christmas.
So hubby tells me he is very excited about this gift and he wants to know if he can give it to me tonight (last night – Monday). I told him I know I am always impatient and hate surprises, but I thought he should just wait until Christmas morning because we both have to work today and it was putting a damper on things. He said he couldn’t wait. We was taking me to dinner and giving it to me.
So he gets home and walks in the door. I don’t see a present in his hand? We go to a cute little Italian place near us, and as he hands me the menu from across the table, I see it. I burst out in tears. He’s got his ring on….. Both of us were like two fools in love at the table. The waiter thought he just proposed…. It was the best Christmas present yet.
So I bet your asking where did he find it. Well, it wasn’t in the house. He took it off in one of the cars he was driving last week because he put his gloves on and it was bothering him. (Hubby works for a dealership and drives different cars all the time). It was a miracle that he was able to find it in the car, considering it had been on the showroom floor where all sorts of people come in and look at the car. That’s why I call it a miracle.
So now he is getting a tube of Crazy Glue in his stocking for Christmas. And a bigger pair of gloves so it doesn’t bother him. I forum mailed LIWeddings with my wonderful news. And I wanted to take this opportunity to publicly thanks every single one of you ladies who offered your support, prayers, and good wishes. In addition, I want to let LIWeddings and Elsa know that the thought of them helping us out meant more to us than anything. We are truly amazed by their planned generosity and have helped put a smile on our faces this Christmas. Had we not found his ring, I would’ve never been able to thank LIWeddings and Elsa enough for what they were willing to do for us.

This truly is an amazing site, as I can testify to that as I am here more than 7 months after being married. I hope to get to see everyone at the next gathering. There is a wonderful group of ladies here and I value my online friendships.
I wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season and good wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.
