My husbands friends have terrible manners- they constantly come over (and just show up) and eat our food, and expect me to feed them.
Along with that, every time we have a party, they show up empty-handed. I mean I dont expect you to bring an 8-course dinner, but at least cookies or a bottle of coke or something.
So Sunday we are having a superbowl party, and dh apparently has had enough of his friends. He assigned them things to bring
I kind of think he's as bad as them right now

You should go to their places and eat their food! At least Mike told them to bring stuff! I would have done the same thing!

Good for him! Like you said, you don't mind having them, but you can't be expected to play happy hostess ALL of the time. They should be more than happy to pitch in especially since you normally have them over so much. Have fun on Sunday!
