***My First NWQOTD***

First of all thank you LadyDuda81509 for making me the NWOTW. I am very honored.

Here is my first question. Last night DH and I were having a whole discussion about the side of the bed we sleep on and whether we should keep it that way in the new room. So.....

Which side of the bed do you sleep on and how did you determine that?

I sleep on the right side of the bed. I think its because we first started sharing a bed down at the NJ Shore. The bed there is against the wall and since he is a morning person and usually gets up early to fix boats or do something, he slept on the side that was out, so he didn't have to climb over me. Also I have a little bit of trouble breathing at night and because of that I hate breathing into someone when I sleep, so I have to fall asleep facing away from him (usually cuddled up though). Since I tend to sleep on my right side, it made sense for me to be on our right. In our new room though (when its done) the right side will be towards the door and he gets up earlier then me. So not sure what we will do yet.

I sleep to his left because when he turns at night he kept knocking into the lamp so we decided it would be a safer bet for me to sleep next to the lamp

I sleep on the right & DH sleeps on the left (maybe this works out best b/c I am a righty & he is a lefty???...lol)


ETA: ok if you're look at the bed Im on the right - but if we're laying down on the bed I sleep to his left...

Im so confused...lol

I sleep on the right, and DH has the left, orignially when we moved into our apt it was going to be opposite, but then we decided the night table had to go on the right and the night table was mine so i said why dont we just switch sides! lol
i prob would have liked the left better, but i got use to it!

i guess when we move it will be different depending on where the night table is! lol

I sleep on the right side of the bed (if youre laying in it), I have to be closest to the door, so I'll switch to the left if we rearrange the room...its bizarre.

Right now I'm also closest to the closet to guard my wardrobe

I sleep on the left side facing the bed (ie: my pillow is left when looking at the bed from the foot).

I was going to say I sleep on his left, but only if he's on his stomach...

lol!!!!!!!!

When we first got together, I was on that side. When I slept alone in my bed, I slept on that side. When he slept alone in his bed, he slept on his side. It's like we were meant to be.

I don't think we'd ever dream of switching! Even at hotels or cuddling on the couch, we gravitate towards the same spots.
