My first post here!!

My first post here!!

I'm going through some strange emotions right now. I'm not sure if anyone has felt this way. I cannot for the life of me remember my wedding. It was such a whirlwind, I was all over the place. People pulling me one way, fire dept. showing up (yeah...fire in the basement at DeSeversky) and evacuation the mansion, vendors not fullfilling promises...etc, etc. Is this normal? I cannot fully put together the few days leading up to and after the wedding, it just seems like a jumble of memories... All I want to do is cry. I worked so hard for this, and I keep hearing how it was so great, but for me, I don't know.

So sorry to hear your day was so hectic. I didn't realize how much I'd missed until I got my proofs!!! It'll all start coming back to you once you see pics

Thanks, I'm hoping for that as well. As more and more pics come in, I'm starting to remember

i went through the same thing. i only kept remembering all that i didn't like, or all that went wrong. i couldn't for the life of me remember anything fun/good about my wedding.

it's almost like the amnesia people get about car accidents... honest.

you'll start to remember as people talk about your wedding and as you look at your proof. i promise.

i just recently started to feel better about my own wedding. people have started to tell me what a great time they had, and i finally got my proofs.

(shameless plug here... i have some pics in my album )

don't worry, now it's time to enjoy being married. it's a beautiful thing.

I'm sorry you don't remember much about your wedding day but things will start to come back to you as you see pics and watch your video.

I'm sorry you don't remember much of your wedding...I'm sure when you see pics friends took as well as your own video and proofs it will all come back

I can totally relate to the amnesia thing - I got my video a few wks ago, and I was like - huh?

and then I remembered things that my videographer left out!

I'm just curious - did deSeversky do something in anyway to compensate for the disaster at your wedding? I hope so - that certainly wasn't your fault!

Oh, gosh, T....did it affect your wedding? The fire, I mean. As for forgetting details, you aren't alone. I don't remember a whole lot!

i'm sorry you feel like this unfortunatly, i think this is something people don't tell you about when you're planning the wedding. that, as important as it is, and as much time as you spend planning it, its still just ONE day, and will fly by as fast as every other day.
thats why pictures and video are so important- they're the thing you have left after the wedding. like the other ladies said, it will all come back to you oce you start getting pics and video back enjoy it!!
