My Great Grandmother passed away!

My Great Grandmother passed away last night. She was a month and a half shy of 103. She lived a very long and happy life, so its not as sad as many deaths, but its still sad to see such a wonderful and loving woman go. At her 100th Birthday she was in amazing shape. By my shower she was struggling a lot. She was at my wedding and walked down the aisle with my grand-father (her son-in-law), which was truly amazing. I was also the first of her Great Grandchildren to get married so that was pretty cool to have her there. This winter she has been ill and staying with her oldest son and his wife instead of in her home in Brooklyn.

Now she can join my grandmother (her daughter) in heaven.

With the oldest of her Great Grandchildren, she has about 17 more but all under the age of 15, only the older kids got to come to this because it was late.

Michelle I am personally touched by your great grandmother's story. She was an absolutely stunning woman! How elegant! I know she lived a full life, and I'm sure she was so proud and honored to have been at your wedding. She looks so happy in all those pics. You might have seen that I lost my grandmother last night too so my heart goes out to you both with empathy and sympathy! hugs and prayers to you and your family! Strange I also had two other friends who lost grandmothers last night. . I hope they all are meeting and gossiping somewhere!
