My Husband EATS PHONES ALIVEEE...UGHHHH!!!!!!!!

I love him- I do...

But can someone explain to me WHY...

HE has gone through SIX phones in SIX months?

I understand, he works outside... they can get wet...

But the brand new one we just bought (Mind you- we have to buy off contract which they all are close to 200 each) ...

Is cracked in half!

So, I got a call with a vm- checked the vm...

'Um, Babe, I broke my phone on concrete today so I wont be able to call you when I'm on my way home'



Off to best buy to spend another poop load of money on a verizon phone...

well, as someone who suffers from this same issue... chronic cellphone destruction... CCD... yeah, i don't know why it happens to me either... but i always feel bad!

Uggh that stinks!!! Can you buy him the phone made for construction workers??? DH had looked at it a while back but said it was too big and he didn't like it. I'm sure it was just too uncool for him . I think insurance in his case will be worth it check into that!!! and IMO Verizon phones have lost their quality and are made like sh!zt. OOOOOOOOO shoot me I just sounded like my mother....Back in my day.....

Last time he was hammering the phone fell out of his pocket and landed under the hammer

It fell out of his pocked today while he was breaking up cement with a diamond drill- bye phone...

Last time he was hammering the phone fell out of his pocket and landed under the hammer

True stories. Although he won't want me to share...

The time before that wa because they work outdoors and he was soaked...hence was the phone...

DH came home on a break from work & went to the bathroom - still to this day have NO idea HOW it happened - but the phone fell off his belt & PLOP - RIGHT INTO THE TOILET! - Yep...& he hadnt a chance to flush yet either.... That was fun explaining to Verizon - luckily we had the insurance - but ew! that was so disgusting to have to bring into the store for a new one...

ETA: luckily it was only #1...

Not only into the toilet but down the hole...

So what does she do?

She uses the house phone to call it
