What resolution should I scan them at? I want them to post well!! There must be at least 1,000....the photographers said they didn't even TRY to count!

Re: MY proofs are AMAZING..but I have a few questions
what program are you using? I scanned mine at 1200 dpi to edit in photoshop...... I dunno if that helps. If it is just to show them on the website, then I think it is 300 - 600 dpi, b/c any more will blur the pic over the net.

Re: MY proofs are AMAZING..but I have a few questions
If its just to show on the web, you can scan at 100dpi. If you plan on having reprints, you need to scan at at least 300dpi.

Another question..Re: MY proofs are AMAZING..but I have a few questions
How do you know you are scanning at 100 dpi?Where does it tell you that, and if my computer scans at a higher dpi, how can I change it?

Re: MY proofs are AMAZING..but I have a few questions
If you're scanning to post, you should scan at 72dpi--All computer monitors will show your photos at that resolution no matter how high quality you scan them in at. If you're scanning to print, you should scan at at least 300 dpi if you want to keep the image the same size as your actual print and higher if you want to enlarge it.Good luck! And congrats on getting your proofs, you must be so happy!!!
