Girls I can't begin to explain how upset I am...I have a 1000 pics that look as if I had 2 amature photographers take pictures at my wedding. I hired 2 guys and you would think that they would have different angles or shots..well it is as if they stood next to each other and snapped the same pictures...and not well either. I had the most beautiful day, the sky was as blue as could be...every picture i took outside by myself or with my girls the sky is whited out, I look as if I am blending in with it. The boys pics on the beach, the same thing...and they must have been shooting into the sun because a majority of his pics have orbs in them...3 pics of me and my dad walking down the isle and i say 3 because the others are the same shot that was taken from the other photographer........DON'T YOU THINK THEY WOULD HAVE HAD ONE OF THE PHOTOGRAPHERS IN THE BACK WITH ME AND MY DAD?!?!?!? It's as if the day or the emotion of the day wasn't captured at all. No pics of our rings...no close up picstures of Joe and I!!!! There are a few of us close up in the church and than that is it!! The pics with our bridal party...we look like dots in the pics that is how far away they are! I haven't slept a full night since Wed night when I picked them up, I wake up staring at the wall thinking of what i am going to say to them when I call on Monday. I am so upset, this is a part of my life I won't ever be able to get back. I feel like it is going to take work to edit these pics to get them to where we want them I can't even pick a picture for our Thank You I feel like I sat there and explained everything in detail, and provided pictures and still didn't get what I was supposed to. I am so beside myself...sorry for this being so long. When I can muster up the energy to look at them again I will scan a few but as of now I don't even want to look at them, it just gets me all upset again. I think out of 1000 i found 20 that aren't bad...sorry i had to vent...

Ughh thats annoying. Do you have any pics to post? I know it is definitely hard to shoot in the bright sunlight. I have some washed out photos but its just how it goes. But to say you dont like any of them...ugh. Can you post some examples?

Why r u touching them up? Get them to do it. Tell them that you are not happy with them. They can take shots of your rings in the studio or any other detail that they missed. I'm sorry to hear this. I know how important pictures are. But, from the one's you've uploaded,....Love em! Good Luck!

I am so sorry to hear that! Photography is so important. I cannot complain about my photographer, but I even used photoshop to change some of the originals. Did you get the high resolution CD? Then you can probably do a lot. The pics you posted are not bad, and with some editing can be so much nicer. Think b&w, sepia,selective color, cropping, blurred borders, etc. I'm no expert, by any means, but there is so much you can do. If you bought photoshop, FM me and I can tell you more....

I saw your pics on the 08 board and i think they came out awesome!!!
It's hard when we book a vendor expecting one thing out of them and we get something totally different. Your photos are pretty, I'm guessing the reason you aren't happy is b/c they aren't what you expected.
The truth is, you have some (from what I've seen) beautiful shots!!!

*****, i saw some of your pictures and i think they are absolutely beautiful. Im so sorry you are disappointed. I felt the same way about mine, I was expecting them to be alot better than they were- i was kinda upset about it too. I really hope you feel better ,and like some of the other girls said, maybe you can fix some of the ones that you dont like. I'm sure your album will be gorgeous.

Thank you girls...I ended up not hating them as much, it took a few days but that is because i was able to edit them through Picnik this past weekend so I guess if he had edited the ones I wanted it wouldn't have been so bad... I am still upset though that he didn't take all the pictures I had requested and even the quality of some of them.

I understand your disappointment in feeling there were a lot of lost moments, but I honestly do love the proofs that are in your album. You looked so beautiful. I always say it, but I just love your dress!!

I have similar feelings about my proofs... first of all, we only got 350. Which sounds like a lot until I came on here and realized that it is definitely at the low end of the spectrum compared to what most of you girls got. Also, my photographer didn't show much creativity or use different angles or effects or anything like that. Out of 350, there are maybe 5 or 6 good shots of DH and I alone... the rest are BP or family shots. He also didn't have us do any serious or artistic-type poses... all of our pics have us smiling the exact same way. I am a little disappointed by all of this, but overall I am ok with our photos.
