My Valentines evening
My DH gave me one of the most romantic evenings. We drove to the city and to throw me off he was driving all over mid-town, finally at around 6:30 we were on West St. and he pulls into Chelsea piers, he was taking me on the Bateaux NY for a dinner cruise
. We had 2 other couples joining us (our BM and his girlfriend and a GM and BM). When we were shown to our table each lady had a half dozen red roses, a bottle of champagne, 2 souvenier glasses and chocolate cordails. Our appitizer was a mushroom strudel (now I hate mushrooms but this was delicious). In between courses my bm said well since this is a night of surprises I have one too, We are having a baby
She is 3 months along and brought her sonogram pics, so cute!
Our main course was a choice between Filet Mignon and Sea bass. We all went for the Filet Mignon, it was so tender that you didnt need your knife. There was a small jazz band playing and the vocalist was so good. We got up and danced a few times. The views were so beautiful, we went all around Manhattan, under the Brooklyn Bride, up to the Statue of Liberty, along the Jersey Coast line. The dessert...yummmm was a warm chocolate torte with a scoop of caramel ice cream. We brought our camera, but the freaking thing died after 1 picture
Our friends though were taking pics throughout the night so I should have more pics soon.
After playing fashion show Saturday afternoon, DH told me that he liked my e-party dress better, so I wore that. I wasnt overdressed at all
Ohhhhh and a couple got married last night on the boat as well
