I know this has been done but I am off this week so I am going to try to get this done after 4 months.
I have to go to

DMV
The bank
anywhere else to change my name?

Make sure you bring your registration and title with you to the DMV. You will need to change those as well.
Also, your car insurance, life insurance, etc.
