Name change...

Hey Girls,

Don't know if any of you know this but I figured I would ask.

I still didn't change my last name! I want to do it this week but I am having a bunch of technical difficulties and might not be able to. I am starting a new job on Monday and most likely wont be able to change it anytime soon. Is there a rule that you can't change it after a year without getting updated documents? I could be totally wrong but I thought the lady at the city clerks office said something like that.

I do not know of any rule that would prevent you from changing your name after a year. You could change your social security card and passport via mail and most DMV offices have one late night per week. Most credit card companies only require a phone call and most banks are open on Saturday. It might take a little longer but you can get it done without missing any work.
