going on Friday to change my name.. i live in queens
i'll be going to the SS office in jamaica first.. then off to the DMV
do i need anything else besides my marriage license?
i'll be changing my address as well.. will i need a utility bill??

birth certificate & drivers license for ss. i think they take your passport if you don't have your birth certificate if i'm remembering correctly. and when i changed my address, i didn't need to bring a utility bill, they just let me change it.

They definitely accept passport for the SS card.

If you are planning to change your name on your car title and registration you will need to bring them with you.

I just brought my marriage cert and my drivers license to ss and that was fine.
