Name Change...UGH

Do I need to wait to go to the DMV to get my new liscense until my Social Security card comes in? Or can I just go and change it now?

AND Teachers- did anyone change their name yet on their certification? How do you that!

You can go and change it now! I did SS one day and DMV the next.

It doesn't matter which you do first, just make sure you bring your marriage certificate.

you don't need your SS card for the DMV... you can do that in whatever order you want... you just need to show both offices your marriage license

i just posted re: the teacher name change on another board... i think it was BHB

you don't need your SS card for the DMV... you can do that in whatever order you want... you just need to show both offices your marriage license
