If this was posted already sorry, I looked first bc thought it would be but didn't see it.
I feel so horrible about what happened to her, it's so tragic and sad the papers said today that she is brain dead and Liam Neeson had to make the decision whether to shut off the ventilator or keep it on for now while her family says goodbye to her
It's so crazy too bc she didnt have a big fall, she just fell in the snow and bumped her head but not like she hit a tree or anything. She had no blood or injury showing. The ski instructors said she looked perfectly fine and even laughed about falling. But they said they took her to her room and urged her to see a doctor bc its their policy to do this. Natash finally agreed to see a doctor after she got a headache an hour later. Its crazy how these things can happen like that.
ETA: well they have announced that she has died, such a tragic loss

yes I read it; it's so very sad and very very scary! I got into a car accident and my head was hurting in the night and I decided to go to the hospital St. John's and all they did was xray my neck, when I was telling them I felt a tingle in my head. Very very scary!

Yeah they said she has a Subdural hematoma, its when a head impact causes a vein to to burst. Then blood fills the cavity between the brain and the skull, and the pressure causes damaged brain tissue.
Thats stupid that they didnt check to make sure.

This story is so sad and all I can think about when I read it is my father. It makes me think how lucky we are to have him, and it just gives me some sense of hope for her family that maybe she will come out of this.
It just amazes me with TBI (traumatic brain injury) how little of a bump it really does take to seriously injure your brain.
With my father, we were lucky that he was knocked unconscious. They say that makes the risks greater for not recovering, but in the same respects, my father would have done exactly what she did. He would have got up and went home. (only difference is he would have went to bed and probably never woke up).

i think its denise richardson's sister...am I wrong, I know her husband is the guy that made the movie that they kidnapped his daughter (alive?).
My DH goes to the hospital for mostly anything, I guess he is smart...you ever know. I figured the hospital personnel knew what they were doing, but still they could have at least checked....I felt a weird tingle all over my head..I am very angry but thank God I am okay. This should make us more aware to go and check if something like this happens.

she is an actress and also married to Liam Neeson.
She was in the movie Parent trap, she played the mother, Also in Maid in Manhattan with J-lo and the movie closer and others. She also did alot of Broadway plays. Her mother is Vanessa Redgrave.

no she is not Denise Richards sister, her name is richardson. her sister is Joely Richardson from the show Nip/tuck but her husband is liam neeson from the movie taken
