If this was posted already sorry, I looked first bc thought it would be but didn't see it.

I feel so horrible about what happened to her, it's so tragic and sad the papers said today that she is brain dead and Liam Neeson had to make the decision whether to shut off the ventilator or keep it on for now while her family says goodbye to her

It's so crazy too bc she didnt have a big fall, she just fell in the snow and bumped her head but not like she hit a tree or anything. She had no blood or injury showing. The ski instructors said she looked perfectly fine and even laughed about falling. But they said they took her to her room and urged her to see a doctor bc its their policy to do this. Natash finally agreed to see a doctor after she got a headache an hour later. Its crazy how these things can happen like that.

ETA: well they have announced that she has died, such a tragic loss

Awww noooo, that's so heartbreaking!! I was praying that she would be all right. I kept checking all day hoping there would be good news. I can't believe it, what a freak thing. They made such a nice couple, and they have two young boys too.

i was also hoping that somehow she would be ok. I was on the train today reading the paper and was so teary eyed reading about this. They said they kept her on the ventilators just to give her family time to say goodbye.

I know, I'm teary-eyed now. This morning when I was walking to work I saw the headline 'Natasha's tragic ending' and I was upset thinking she passed overnight. This really upsets me. I can't believe it. It's just so sad. I can't imagine how devastated they are...their poor sons.

Its so sad. What a tragic loss. Such a shame that a silly fall could take such a lovely woman, wife, mother & fine actress.

It's crazy how this could happen, they said she was laughing at herself when she fell, and it was on the bunny slopes so wasnt a bad fall and doubt she wouldve been laughing if it was bad. They said she fell on soft snow. Somehow she hit her head though. So crazy to think about really.

I cant even imagine what her family is going through. For this to happen after such a small thing

This doctor on Larry King is saying there's a possibility that she may have had a pre-existing condition that caused her to fall and caused the subdural hematoma.

thanks for sharing the info on that, Denise. I didn't really understand what went on. All I heard was that she passed away due to a skiing accident. This story definitely makes me sad to hear. Especially since you said that apparently she seemed fine with not scratches or outer injuries, and then suddenly got a headache an hour later. This all just seems so sad. I have to be honest and say that I REALLY hope that she died on her own, and that her husband didn't have to 'pull the plug'. I can't even imagine having to make that kind of decision and then trying to deal with it afterwards. My prayers go out to her family

Unfortunately, I believe he did have to make that decision. I believe they said she was kept alive long enough to bring her back to NY so her family could say their goodbyes. Soo sad!

This is so sad and I know how they must feel. My 7 year old cousin died the day after Xmas on a family skiing trip to Colorado. He hit a tree and died. Its so sad
