Need advice

Our annual company picnic is in 2 weeks at our CEO’s summer house. The whole firm is invited with their families, including kids. They will have games & activities for the kids & babysitters & lifeguards. Sounds great, right?

Here’s where it suucks. There is a pool. Ella is going to see the pool & want to go in. Ella has only ever been in the pool with me. She obvi can’t swim or anything. And she won’t go with strangers. WHAT am I going to do? I have a belly ring & a tattoo on my back. Not to mention I look like the Montauk Creature in a bikini. Do I buy a 1 piece? Do I wear boy shorts?

Maybe a tankini? so it's not so bleh but will still cover what you want to cover? That's probably what I would do....

No one will even notice as soon as you get in the water. Wear what you are comfortable in. It's not 1820 you're allowed to have a tatoo they won't fire you . They will prob like you more and invite you out for liquid lunches.

I will also add that when you have Ella with you most eyes will prob be on her cute face enjoying the water.

Have fun. My company has a employees only bbq at a house in the Hamptons every summer. I am not brave enough to wear a swimsuit in front of anyone I work with.

In truth, I don't care about my tats & belly ring as much as I care about my t its hanging out & my loose tummy

I found this adorable one but it's over $100, and that's on SALE.

newport news always has cheap bathing suits, and la redoute (both catalogs). i was going to say... if you didn't want to go in then you can TOTALLY use the 'I just got over coxsackie, I'm not getting in a pool with little kids ' excuse.
But I know that wouldn't be fun for ella.

that suit is very cute but I would just test it out before wearing it in front of work people. Off white and water may make you look like a spring breaker at a wet t shirt contest. you will wish all they are seeing are your tats and not your tits .
