Need advice on what to wear!

Going to a wedding in Sag Harbor on Sat.
It's at the bride's aunt's house [or should I say ESTATE]...
The ceremony will be held outside [over a glass top pool!] but aside from that I really have no idea how dressy to get? There may be some high profile attendants so I rrrreally don't wanna look like a schmuck

I have a formal RED dress that I never get sick of wearing- strapless, mid-calf length, beading under boob area.

And I have a not-so-formal dress but haven't worn it so much- Here's a pic

i'd say red dress.. sounds formal to me - sat night.. at a very nice home..

I would wear the red dress since it is calf length it wouldn't be overly dressy. Any good high profile people? I'm looking for a wedding to crash.

No idea.. the woman hosting the wedding is rather 'high profile' herself so I'm guessing there will be some awesome people there. I'll see ya there- We'll be the ones dressed like sh!t with silverware in our pockets, drooling in a corner somewhere.

I like the dress you posted... it's stylish and unique. But if you're worried about *fitting* in, I'd say go with the red gown.

though... who wants to FIT IN. I say be seen...
