Need Advice (Re: Past Vendor)
Some of you might remember that I received a free videography package 2 weeks before my wedding. A videographer bought brand new HD equipment, and he wanted to test it out on a non-paying bride. Since I didn't have a videographer, I was more than happy when he e-mailed me and asked if he could shoot my wedding. All he wanted was for me to show off my highlight reel to LIW, and I was more than happy to do so! I got the highlight reel about 2 weeks after the wedding and it was stunning. I couldn't have been happier. Now, almost 11 months after the wedding, I have not received anything since the highlight reel. I've e-mailed and called and he kept telling me he was backed up. I didn't complain about it because I got this service for free. However, I'm now starting to get really annoyed.
I just sent him another e-mail, and I decided to re-read the contract that we wrote out together. I honestly haven't looked at this since we agreed to it, but I was SO MAD when I saw that he promised me my video (not just the highlight reel) THREE WEEKS MAX after the wedding. It takes a lot for me to get miffed, but after reading that, I am totally annoyed.
If I received this service for free and he's not responding to me, is there anything I can really do?

IDKEven though you didnt pay for it, you still have a contract and he performed a service for you. I would send a copy of the contract with the time frame highlighted to him (registered mail). See if anything happens from that.
