cut your losses!!! If they have not contacted you to apologize then you dont want those types of friends anyway.

Cut your losses. When they're ready to talk, they'll contact you!

Cut your losses!

I had a 'friend' who canceled on me 15 minutes before my shower. Then we started taking bets on if she would cancel on the wedding too. Sure enough, I get a facebook message the morning of my wedding canceling for her and her husband. Both were really bogus excuses too. So, at last count, she owes me $304.00 for plates for the shower and wedding, not to mention the fact that I had gone to her shower the year before and given her gifts, and her wedding earlier in the year and given her a gift.

I just didn't respond to the message, and don't plan on speaking to her ever again. She was a shizzy, selfish, flaky friend who only ever cared about herself, and I don't need that. She even had the nerve to wish me a fake happy birthday on FB a few months later too, which I ignored.

If you have friends who did the same to you, then they're not your real friends.

We had four no shows, one being my own boss. I found out shortly after that she claimed she 'never got the invitation' however, there was a letter sent to those who didn't RSVP back from my mother stating to let us know if they didnt get an invite, and i also stuck one in her mailbox at work... hmm

I let it go. I dont talk to them anymore!

Cut your losses.

I don't talk to any of my no-shows except one who apologized sooo much b/c even though he took off, everyone from DH's job took off so he HAD to go in to work.

It depended on the reason, I had a lot of no shows but they mostly had really good reasons.

my cousin's baby got sick... ok

my dad's friend had a kidney stone... understandable

my former boss (who I love like a father) was at the church but didn't show up to the reception . I don't know what happenned and haven't talked to him since which upsets me. I think he is embarrassed. But rumor has it he has had very serious kidney problems and have been in and out of the hospital. So I assume he was sick so if I ever saw him I wouldn't think twice about being A-OK with him.

I was a no show for a wedding once and had 101 fever. DH went without me. What are you going to do, go get everyone sick and be miserable.

Cut your losses. It sux that theywere not at the wedding but it is even worse they did not contact you- You do not need people like that around.
