I am writing up a contract and my boss wants me to state in their that that the contract is not forever and if it doesn't work out they can go their separate ways.
I have no clue how to word that!!! Neither does my boss!!!!
Does anyone have an Idea??? Please Help!

What kind of contract is it? A pre-nuptial? If you still need an answer let me know and I will ask my sis who is a paralegal

Why bother with a contract if you can break it at will if either party wants to?
FM me if you still need help drafting this. Basically, what you need to put is:
The terms of this document are not binding and may be broken by either party at will with notice to the other party of said intention to break within XX days before such termination. Should either party elect to terminate this contract, no further recourse is available by either party.
Something like that.

I actually found something great! It was basically what I was trying to say but had the proper language. Thanks for the replies Ladies!!!
