Need help from you married girls...which non-stick pots are better?

Hi girls....sorry I'm not a newlywed but I'm posting here b/c I figured you all have your new pots and pans and have been using them and could tell me if you love yours or not....

I am a non-stick only girl - not into the stainless steel. I am torn between the Anolon Advanced set or the Calphalon One.

Some people tell me it's a no brainer b/c the Calphalon set is almost double the price so that must mean they are better. But I have been hearing great things about Anonlon Advanced...Rachael Ray who I love to watch cook uses and recommends the Anolon. I'm just really unsure.

I like the rubber handles on Anolon that don't get hot. They are both pretty heavy but I'm ok with that.

Any help is appreciated. I need to finalize my registry as my shower invites are going out soon...my sister is yelling at me to pick something!

THANKS!

Hmm, I own stainless so I can't give you a personal recommendation, but if a professional chef like Rachael Ray uses the Anolon, then they must be pretty good!

I also like the idea of handles that don't get hot...that's the only thing that I feel like I'm missing out on with mine.

I have both Calphalon Non-Stick and their stainless. I have to say I love my pots and they were worth every cent.

That is good to hear - thanks! I am definitely leaning more towards the Anolon right now.

For those of you who have stainless - why do you love this so much??? I already own some stainless and I just find everything really sticks to it no matter how much Pam I use

Thanks for the help girls!!!

I have Calphalon One and I like them, but i feel that they are really heavy. If I had to do it over again, I think I would get All Clad.

Sorry, I went with All Clad Stainless, so I can't really help....

My sister did get the Calphalon ones though and she loves them.

I have all stainless & don't find anything sticking to them. I find things cook more evenly with the stainless & also they are easy to clean!

On a side note, I don't do much frying, but when I do, I use a non-stick skillet.

my Dh is the cook, not me...he picked all our stuff out and researched it thoroughly. When we went to BB&B to register the woman helping us started addressing ME in the kitchen area and was shocked when my DH started asking her all these in-depth questions, lol.

Anyways, for stainless we got the Calphalon Tri-ply and then we got a few non-stick pans also..

I use both. I use nonstick for frying and sauteing, and I use stainless for everything else. Stainless is better if you're cooking something that needs deglazing (when you pour liquid to get bits of meat and veggies from the bottom of the pan), but nothing beats nonstick when it comes to stuff like scrambled eggs and sauteed spinach.
