Definitely have a nice big salad!!
What about some quiches? Stop & Shop makes very good ones and they just have to be heated up.

How about a tray of tomato & mozzarella? Veggie platter with dip is always good.

you could do a platter of blintzes; bagels, cream cheeses and lox; fruit salad; green salad. I'd stay away from a deli meat or cheese platter, simply b/c those are off limits when you are pregnant.

Hmmmm.... how about a strata? REALLY good and very easy! Or maybe a honey bakes ham? do you have a crock pot? how about making some sausage & peppers or something...? Or Chili?
we just had my SILs baby shower last weekend & we had chicken marsala, stuffed shells, meatballs, a ham, salad, fruit, eggplant parm.... i think that's it. yeah, we're Italian. how did you guess?
I have a really easy recipe for spinach & feta puff pasty thingies if you want.

i was gonna suggest sausage & peppers as well..... if u have the chicken, lasange, sausage & pepper, swedish meatballs & a nice salad - that is PLENTY for 30people... and then like i said - if u wanna add another pasta without a 'sauce' it would be good... as for appetizers - like u said - hit up bj's or costco! heck even a super walmart! good luck! if u need any recipes for easy desserts let me know!

Sorry no good suggestions - at all of our celebrations it's latino food galore - lots of arroz con gandules, platanos maduros, pollo al horno, etc. I swear, we have like the same food for EVERY event!

This recipe should be enough for 30 people, easily. Let me know if the way I wrote it makes sense
SPINACH FETA CRESCENTS
2 cans of crescent rolls 1 10oz package frozen spinach (THAWED & DRAINED) ½ lb feta 3 oz cream cheese ½ tsp dill ½ tsp black pepper 3 tbsp butter
Saute onion in butter. Combine with cream cheese, feta, squeezed and drained thawed spinach, dill & black pepper. Refrigerate 1 hr.
Take can of crescent rolls & unroll. Cut each triangle in half, making each into 2 smaller triangles.
Put 1 tbsp of mixture in middle of each triangle & then fold in the corners.
Put on a cookie sheet & bake @ 350 for 12-15 min.
