Need help...what to wear?

DH and I have a wedding in Charlotte, NC in a little less than 2 weeks.

I've been to every possible store in the mall to find a dress and nothing. Nothing fits right/looks right and I'm kinda in between sizes.

Would it be ok if worse comes to worse I wear black pants and a nice top?

I'm so screwed!

charlotte is sooo warm this time of year---i would think black pants would be hot as hell. maybe find a pretty black skirt?

if you can't find one--then i'm sure it will be fine with black pants and a nice top.

and like Yesi said--check out your closet--you might find something you forgot about !

I've seen women in pants at weddings, with a really glittery or fancy top. I think that'd be ok.

I wasn't too worried about the weather b/c the ceremony and reception are in the hotel...(now the wedding we have down there in August will be a different story!)

I checked the closet...I had 2 nice dresses that used to fit....not since getting married!

Have you gone shopping in your closet? Not trying to be funny - sometimes we either forget we have certain items or think they won't fit or whatever, but you could be surprised!

Agree! If you're between sizes, seperates probably work best. What abotu looking for something in a printed jersey material? Its usually reallyforgiving.
