need ideas for my e-ring

hey girls.. i was wondering if anyone had an idea of what i can do with my e-ring.. let me show a pic 1st then i will explain what i am talking about-

these are my e-ring and wedding band


so for the past month since we got married i have been wearing them both together.. like in the pic. but lately it has been irritating my finger to have both on. the e-ring is kind of bulky. so i was wondering what i can do to make it 1 ring or something.. or make something else out of it.

any ideas??

when you say they are irritating you, what do you mean? sliding around? getting a rash?

you could have them fused together to make them one ring. that might help if they are sliding around.

i understand how you feel...
i never wear my e-ring.. dont get me wrong, i love it and is very dear to me.. .i just usually wear my band unless i go out . but work and just being at home.. i never have my e-ring on..

nah i think its the fact of how wide they are when theyre both on.. my hand just feels so much better when i just have my wedding band on.. but i dont want to just get rid of the e-ring ya know? maybe i should make it into a necklace or something? cuz it looks weird on my right hand.. i dunno

yeah peg you might be right actually.. they feel tighter when theyre on together.. they fit but now that you mention it i think the e-ring needs to be a little bigger now that its in a different spot on my finger (closer to my knuckle now).. maybe i will get that one made bigger before i decide to do anything to it. thanks

definitely agree with peg---maybe see if sizing it up might help--i bet just 1/2 size more could be good.

if not--just wear your wedding band--and wear the e-ring when you go out or something. i wouldn't want to make it into a necklace--i mean its your e-ring and its pretty!

The only reason I bring it up-before you get rid of your ering...My ring was sized to be 4 1/2 and flattened underneath so it wouldnt spin, when put on a ring sizer it was 4 1/4...when I got my bands they needed to re build my ring to be 4 1/2 b/c all three rings were uncomfortable. Most of the 'meat' on your fingers is underneath, the wider the bands the tighter they are. They will itch and sweat and you will constantly play with them-even if they are only made slightly bigger they will be more comfortable. Try it and see, worst that happens is you are back where you began and you can have anecklace made with your ering.

I had an issue w/my original E ring it was soo bulky that the sides of the ring were irritating my finger and actually cutting into it. We tried several things, the sizing etc.. I ended up with an entirely different setting in the end.

I know that was not much help.Try Pegs way bfr you go my route.

yes thank you girls! i am going to use pegs advice and try getting it 1/2 or 1 whole size bigger.
