need ideas for small baby shower that im hosting

hey ladies,
im throwing a small (around 10 ladies) baby shower for one of my friends at my house.
Any ideas for cute games, favors for a small group of ladies?
Also what other cute things do you usually do at showers as far as maybe making some kind of basket with little toys/pacifiers?
just wondering, i havent been to a baby shower in a lonnng time so if you have any ideas i'd appreciate it

my aunt did a really cute thing... she bought a bunch of clear baby bottles (cheap ones) and cut the tip of the nipples off... stuck a straw in each, and served mimosas in them...

then gave all the bottles to the mom to be for future use (cleaned... with extra nipples of course)

hey i am actually hosting my sisters shower next week for about 20 people i decided to buy scratch off tickets (from oriental trading) they are bottle scratch offs each packet of tickets comes with one winner also a cute one I saw was this baby ribbon ( i saw it in walmart) for only 1.50 you get to cut some to guess how big the mom to be tummy is dh told me not to buy it- too late my sister thought that would have been a cute idea oh well

as for favors i bought these adorable tiny white pals from target (in the invitation section) and i filled them with hershey kisses there are ribbons around the pal - also bought these cute foot print bookmarks that have footprint pins from oriental trading that have a really cute poem on them

no problem you can order online through their website you most likely will get the items in time if you rush the order- i had to pay extra in shipping

and yes they get a prize!

if you dont want to chance that with oriental trading target also had a cute games - they had baby bingo and some cute animal game where you have to name baby animals

My SIL's shower is the weekend after the one you're hosting and I'm still not sure what games to do other than baby shower bingo, which I know for sure she wants to do.

Other than that... ???

I'm at a loss, lol, so hopefully there'll be more suggestions!

Yes ! Actually in the new Rachel Ray mag there are tons of ideas in it for showers. Super cute. Do you have it? If not I have it at home and I will let you know the ideas later.

Its actually on that website I linked in the previous post! They have such cute ideas from cakes to invitations and food, decorations!

This is SO gross but I saw it on 'the girls next door' and i thought it was hysterical....

the poop game...

basically you melt different kinds of chocolate candies (snickers, reeces, butterfinger, etc) and mash them into diapers. then you pass them around and people have to taste them and guess what kind of candy it is... then they win a prize.

it's totally gross, but really funny IMO!

for favors... my cousin gave out these little chocolate boxes that were shaped like those ABC blocks... and it was filled with chocolate covered things.. pretzels, nuts, etc.

you dont have to but it's cute- i am doing a footprint theme being that my sister does not know the gender of the baby i also incorporated blue, pink,green and yellow as the color scheme
