Need Rehearsal Dinner Help

Please post places where you guys had your rehearsal dinners, how many people and price if you do not mind.

I need help.

We had ours at CP Michaels in Floral Park. I think it came out to $35 per person. We had 20 people in a back room with private rest room. It was pretty nice, the food is good and the service was good.

This included appetizers, salad, choice of several (maybe 8) entrees, beer, wine & soda, dessert, steak option upgrade, tax and gratuity. We decided to run a tab for regular drinks but I don't think it added up to much.

We had it at Villa Marias in East Rockaway. I had 30 people and paid $17pp (not including liquor- we ran a bar tab but no one really drank). We got them when they first opned up, I know it's more now.

How many people? Is a private room required?

Nassau County

Probably a Wednesday, Thursday night.

FH's Parents are paying and I am just trying to find a couple of options for them.

Food is very important to them b/c they are 'right off the boat' Italian

I had mine in Suffolk so it wouldn't help you. What about La Bussola in Glen Cove or Ciao Baby in Massapequa. There is also Butera's in pequa too. If they are off the boat italian, you might want to lean towards italian food.
A friend of mine is getting married in May and they are having theirs at Jonathan's in Garden City?...He said the food there is great also.
