Need some advice...Those of you who had all white Bridal Bo-K's...
Sorry don't mean to barge in on the Newlywed Board, but I had a question....Those of you who had all white Bridal Bo-K's and did Black and White photos with a little color in the picture (sorry a little hard to explain without a picture), how did they come out? Can you post a picture if you have?
Because I want to have some photos like that, but will it look like a waste even if my Bo-K is ALL WHITE and won't show up? Or should I add color to my Bo-K?
Thanks and I look forward to hearing your suggestions.

oh wait I know what you are talking about now. If you do black and white and then have your bouquet in color and its all white I would think it would loook weird.I mean usually in those pics they are trying to bring our the color and detail in the bouquet.
Don't get me to lying girl I am no photography expert

If anything, a white bouquet will be more 'lost' in a color photo than a black and white.A color photo highlights color differences better but a black and white photo will show shadows and shading better.
So a white bouquet on a white dress will blend more in a color photo than a B&W. At least thats what I would think.

This is the only black and white photo of mine I could find. Your question is you want the picture to be all black and white and then the bouquet in color?I don't know how that will look but this is how mine came out in all black and white. I don't know if it looks more washed out in the black and white or color

i had an all white bouquet and opted against coloring it in in the b&w picture. although i love the look that can have with a more colorful bouquet, i think it looks odd with a white bouquet (mine ended up looking yellowish).however, personally, i wouldnt change the color of my bouquet just for the effect in a picture!
(just for the record, this is my 1000th post

We chose to do the bo-k shots in sepia instead of traditional b&w. It gave the bo-k a little more definition, and a bit of personality as well. Sorry, no pics yet

Thanks
Miro127, 'i wouldnt change the color of my bouquet just for the effect in a picture!' - I agree, but I'm not sure if I should all white or add some color in my Bo-K - then what color? decisions, decisions -- I guess I was trying to make it easier for me...one less decision to make-LOL
Anyone else?

Re: Need some advice...Those of you who had all white Bridal Bo-K's...
I had an all white bo-k and will not have a b&w with coloring done with just me and my bo-k or me and DH and my bo-k... I would choose a picture with MORE colors in the background. A friend of mine did this and it was during her petal toss, the petals were colored in and her DH's tie, as well as the bridesmaids bo-k's. There are ways to do this without adding color to a white bo-k. I would NOT add color to my white bo-k.I hope I made sense, lol... I kinda started to babble!

My dress was ivory and my bouquet was all ivory roses with touches of winterberries...I have some black and white photos that I do not plan on adding any color to them...SORRY for the blurriness of the pics...these are pics of my proofs that I took with my digital camera!Welcome New Vendors
