Ladies hopefully you can give me alittle help. We are throwing a suprise 40th Anniversary party for my in-laws. Instead of doing place-cards i want to do a seating chart. Where can i buy paper for something like this? Also, i want to be able to just print it out. Do you think that would be cheesy??? Or should i start printng out the place cards? lol

Re: Need some DIY help
It depends on the number of people. I like placecards better than a seating chart when you dont have tons of people but thats me.

105 ppl is like 60 place cards.......
as far as paper, paper presentation has rolls of diff types of paper..with different print.....
MAYBE u can get that..and go to kinkos and have them print out the seating chart in another sheet.. put on top of the 'nice' paper.. and get it framed?? after the parrty, you can print a nice pic of your inlaws to put in the frame?
or contact 'thelady'.. she charges around 50$ for a chart

Re: Need some DIY help
i made a seating chart for the wedding...
I did a layout in Word & my mom has a printer that prints large sheets of paper - so i was able to just print it out... Otherwise, I think you can go to Staples or Kinkos for the printing.
ETA - my mom got the paper from a photo supply store.

what about something like this? you can print it on a couple sheets and put in on a bigger piece of paper... http://www.avasweddings.com/catalog/images/Seating%20Chart%20Full.JPG
