Need Vacation Ideas

Since we all just went on HM's I figured I could get some advice from my fellow NW's!

I dont want Mexico or the Carribbean though, we are looking for something different. We were looking to go late winter/into spring. It would be like a 5-6 day trip.

I was looking at a Meditteranean cruise, has anyone been on one they can recommend? Any other recommendations?

What about central america like panama or costa rica? We went to costa rica for 6 days and it was amazing.

Thats an idea...my cousin's wife is from Peru and they told me about some amazing places there as well.

One of my other cousins lives in Costa Rica with his wife. What did you do when you were there?

DH and I are headed to Costa Rica in February. We got a great deal on airfare and are staying in San Jose for a couple of days and then driving to Tabacon for the hot springs.

There's a great resort- Tabacon Grand Thermal spa which is fairly high end and has great rates. My brother honeymooned there. VERY romantic. There are also excursions for rain forest canopy tours, volcano hike, white water rafting, waterfalls ect.
