well i DEF wouldn't pull out last minute like that if you truly consider her your friend. that would be a little drastic over this IMO.

that being said, that stinks about the bridal shop mistakes!!! but honestly, if the bride was so not worried about you getting it on time that she told her sis to hold off on sending you hers (crazy but ok), then i wouldn't worry either!! im sure it will get there. and pray it fits! if not, see if you can contact someone who would be willing to do fast alterations just in case.

i know your friend got a little snippy on the phone but shes prob super stressed. not saying thats a great excuse.

Trust me i dont want to pull out i just dont know how i am going to get alterations done on tuesday and wednesday for a gown i havent even tried on. I dont even know that this dress is going to zip over my boobs. I just wish she would have let me let it out in the first place like i wanted to. I am so stressed over this.

sorry. id be frustrated too and nervous about the sizing. do you know any place that you can call to see about quick alterations just in case. i just dont know what else to suggest other than hoping it will fit. do you know the size of her top/the measurements and do you think it will most likely fit?

eta: why wouldnt she let you let it out??

IDK i think she was trying to help a bad situation. Ive alerady been in contact with my seamstress and she said to come in the second i get the dress but shes not positive if she can fix it in time (with good reason because i havent even tried it on)

ugh this is a horrible situation, and i feel for you!! i'd be totally freaked and po'd at the same time.

If i were you i'd be making mad phone calls to tailors to see if you can get the rush job.

at least you have a backup plan for if it doesnt fit.

if that doesn't work, the bride is the one who will need to help figure something out or she'll have a topless BM! the predicament isnt your fault.

Aww It will be ok, these things have a way of working out. I would call ahead and find a place that you know is open late for alterations and make sure they have a super quick turnaround time. I'm sorry to hear you're stressing.....try to relax. It will be ok!!
