NESTING?

Since getting married, did anyone get the urge to start fixing up your home, decorating it, making changes, gardening, things like that?? I've been feeling that way a lot since getting married--like a nesting instinct or something!

Hopefully soon I'll be able to unleash it on my DH's home!

A little. I think it was partly due to boredom and partly due to finances. Planning the wedding took up a lot of time and money

Yes, after we got married, I was nesting like crazy! I revamped and decorated every inch of our home. I really enjoy making our home look beautiful. Now that I watch shows like Trading Spaces, it has given me so many ideas on things to do, so I'm going to be busy for a while re-painting and decorating.

Even though I was into decorating before marriage, I think it's been more prenounced after. I find that I'm more creative and when I shop, it more quality items, whereas before marriage my place looked nice but I bought things that were smaller in size. Now that I'm thinking more family, I look at furniture and everything differently.
