I don't think you guys realize that this website is Long Island Weddings. The main purpose of this website is wedding planning. It seems that a lot of people that think this website is just the forums but there's a lot more to it. Newlyweds have just one board on the entire site. Sure, they should do a contest for us but I don't think it's 'unfair' for them to do a contest for brides-to-be.
I do not think its un-fair to have a contest for brides-to-be, but I do not think its fair to exclude those of us who are married....thats all.

Exactly. They've done plenty of contests that include us... it just seems like kind of a slap in the face being that we newlyweds have been asking for a contest for awhile and it just so happens that the very next contest so obviously excludes us.![]()
And why should we have to wait for LIFamilies to come up in order to get a contest? We've been a huge part of THIS site and our loyalty lies HERE.... it's OUR recommendations, photos, referrals, and reviews that continue to bring business to the vendors that help support this site...

Very well put...although this site is for brides-to-be, we, newlyweds are great resources for them. There's no reason we should be discluded.
