I thought I would start a new theread since the other one is 7 pages long!

If any of you newlyweds are looking to get rid of extra placecards, thank you notes (shower or wedding) and anything else, please post with pics!

Us 'broke' brides 2B would really appreciate it!

IMO...one thread was good enough...no need to have repetitive threads

Now we are going to have to have people re-write everything...

I agree. Lazy. Why do we need a 2nd thread - because the other one is too long?? And what makes you think a 2nd one wouldn't get just as long?

I have a suggestion - maybe Ron could cross post that thread for us on BHB and maybe that would be helpful.

Oh, you mean it woulkd make sense for us (former) brides helping brides to post this list somewhere else? Hmmm, let me think where ... a place where brides are looking for help ...

true and so there is no reason for a 2nd because someone is too lazy to read through the one there
ETA: some NW's took time to write out the things they would give away to help out others and now because someone doesn't want to take the time to read it...because it is too long...BS IMO!

I think this post should just be pulled.

Again, if think this goes back to to the same old gripe we have - that maybe we get sick of 'helping' others when we get no thanks in return.

Kind of like the five shutterfly links I emailed to a BTB last week that I then had to email her 4 days later to make sure she got it since I certainly didn't get confirmation from her!

Good point !!

This board is constantly abused... this is the ONLY forum the newlyweds have just for us (and NO NWR doesn't count because ANYONE can post there), whereass the brides to be have BHB, '05/'06, and everything else for that matter..

I know its futile to say so, but I really REALLY wish some of the rules were enforced by the administrators on this site and threads posted in the wrong place would be either (1) pulled (2) deleted or (3) moved to the correct forum

EXACTLY. I see lots of newlyweds on BHB offering advice. Why isn't that enough? Honestly, I get FMs about my vendors and I am happy to respond, but the constant posts here (many of which are cross posted too) get to be too much.

There is so much cross posting it's so annoying. The same question is asked on the BHB, the 05 board and the 06 board and then maybe the home board and let's try crafts also ... Post on one board. If you don;t get sufficent answer in a day or so, post on a different board. But 4 posts at the same time on 4 different boards is obnoxious!
