Newlywed chop

Ok..its official. I got my newlywed chop and....

I HATE IT.

She didn't give me the beckham, she gave me the Katie Homes variation despite me being specific that was NOT what I wanted. I didn't want a traditional bob with bangs and thats what i got, albeit longer bangs. She claimed its the dark color that makesit look different and that my bangs wern't long enough to pull it off (which YES they were cause I measured) but she made it all more rounded instead of angled.

Usually Im pretty chipper about bad haircuts but Im really disappointed in this one cause we have that fancy dinner on Monday night and now I hate my hair. Its bad enough I don't een want to post pics.

But yep for the girls that knew I was going to chop it I di. verdict= she does fantastic hair color but sh*tty haircuts....

Don't get so down on yourself. I am sure that you look great even thought it isn't exactly what you wanted.

LOL..thanks Kath...thanks guys..but I don't think I'm going for the bald-head, umbrella weilding look juuuust yet. Need to recover from the hair shcok.

I think because she did away with the higlights too, Im thrown off cause its sooo dark. But I did need to lose the highlights for awhile cause it was looking tired and brassy.

Thanks MArie but its BAD-like the back is SUPER DUPER short...literally 3 inches of hair at the top middle and then longer but still SHORt varying lengths down to the base. But the sides are SO LONG like a regular bob from top t bottom..its just really stupid looking. Mirror are banned right now but cheap Arbor mist wine is ON! oye...

Awe hun maybe you will like it better when you do it in your style. Sometimes it looks different when you do it yourself then when the salon does it. Im sure it looks great!!

If I'm correct, Beckham, ( however you spell it) has a graduated bob. So this colorist f#ckedy our sh!t up? Did you realize this while she was cutting? I would be livid, but then again, you are soooooooo beautiful, I don't see anything looking bad on you.Granted it's a huge change for you, but hair grows back. It's not that easy for me to say, but it's true. I wish I could get a hair cut, but after being sick, I'm waiting for it all to grow back.Love you!!! And trust me, you'll adjust

please don't cry!!! I had a butcher job way back...went from long hair to a chop job....after a week & i learned to style it and add hair jewelry i was alot happier! hope you wake up happier!!!!!

Ditto to EVERYONE above, I bet it looks better than you think, but I KNOW how ya feel, I've had more than my share of hatchet jobs!!! 2 things ALWAAAAAAYS help: blow drying it my d*a*mn self and AWESOME earrings. Dont cry it makes your eyes puffy, trust me on that one!!

Im back guys. COuldnt sleep. Between a MASSIVELY upset tummy and 12 pounds of cat throwing herslf at my door because she decides 8:30pm is a time to play because the sun is down so the time to tan and sleep is over, I am wide awake.

Still annoyed about my hair but in a month or two it will be longer and I'll have my usual girl see what she can do with it. Its not the worst I have ever had but it is NOT what I wanted and the longer ends look retarded.

She definetly got the style wrong and the middle is SOOO short it will take months to grow out but I could be bald...coutn myself lucky there.
