Newlywed Picnic/BBQ GTG Site? Narrowed down to two sites. Update: And The Site Is!!!

All this GTG chit chat has reminded me that we need to start to work on the Newlywed Picnic/BBQ.

So with the vote. We narrowed down to two sites and they are: Eisenhower Park and Belmont Lake.
Both of these parks are accessable to everyone. Yes, we do need to drive a bit to get there but they are accessable.

So now we are going to narrow it down to the place that we will be having our 1st Newlywed Picnic/BBQ. The next vote will be on the date of the 1st Newlywed Picnic/BBQ.

Update: We are very pleased to announce that the Newlywed Picnic/BBQ will be held at........................

Eisenhower Park which is located in East Meadow.

I think Eisenhower park would be a good choice b/c its equally distance from suffolk and the city (for the girls in Manhattan & NJ) I think us queens chickas can swing both.

This won't be until the spring no?

It will happen in the summer. Either July or August. I just really want to get a good head start and have everything accessable for everyone
here.

Eisenhower Park. i hope i can finally make it out to a gtg!

I believe that Eisenhower Park is in East Meadow (help me LI Newlyweds) which is more west of the island and Belmont Lake is in North Babylon which is a little tiny bit east. I hope I helped everyone out.

The park is centrally located in East Meadow, bordered by Hempstead Turnpike on the south and Old County Road on the north.

its easy to get to from the parkways. either meadowbrook , or wantagh
