Newlywed Picnic/BBQ GTG Site? Narrowed down to two sites. Update: And The Site Is!!!

All this GTG chit chat has reminded me that we need to start to work on the Newlywed Picnic/BBQ.

So with the vote. We narrowed down to two sites and they are: Eisenhower Park and Belmont Lake.
Both of these parks are accessable to everyone. Yes, we do need to drive a bit to get there but they are accessable.

So now we are going to narrow it down to the place that we will be having our 1st Newlywed Picnic/BBQ. The next vote will be on the date of the 1st Newlywed Picnic/BBQ.

Please vote for the best choice in your thoughts.

Update: We are very pleased to announce that the Newlywed Picnic/BBQ will be held at........................

Eisenhower Park which is located in East Meadow.

I have been to Eisenhower before at least, so I voted for that one. Hopefully I can make this when you set the date!!

I'm realllllly hoping I'll be in NY for this GTG because I would loooove to meet all of you!

My best friend's wedding is 8/16 and I'm hoping to be back in NY for at least a week before then! Hopefully the dates will work out

I voted for Eisenhower Park. I've never been to the other park. Eisenhower has a few areas where we would have free access to water hoses. This might be something to consider should the weather be really hot/humid or if we wanted to include some water activities.
Anyone up for a game of pass the water pickle?
