It's amazing how many 'friends' you loose around/after your wedding.

Yes, I did it too- unfortunately this girl was a BM in our wedding- so I have her picture everywhere...

I do really love her, but at this time in both our lives we just don't get along.

I've been married over 3 years now and I'm STILL cleaning! I've even met people after we got married and had to distance ourselves from them. So many people come and go, but the true friends will always prevail. It's a sad thing sometimes, but you have to do it if you want to grow.

lol...at first I thought you asked if I cleaned my friend's houses....NO WAY

I cleaned house way before the wedding...but I would like to with one of DH's friends now...

I did this before the wedding. The whole process of the engagement and wedding really showed certain 'Friends' in a different light. Their true colors came out, and I realized they were never really the 'true friends' I thought they were. It was painful, but I think it's something we all go through. Sometimes people just take different directions in life, make different choices for themselves and grow apart. I certainly didn't expect that getting engaged and married would make such a profound change to SO many areas of my life. Wow! It's like a crash course in reality.

Just call me Mrs. CLEAN !!!

I had to do spring cleaning. I was holding onto people who didn't give a crap about me. My wedding really opened by eyes to a lot of things.

Just like Sassy said! A BM in my wedding, someone I was friends with for over 10 years. Its sad, but I just couldn't take her blatant narcisism anymore.

Dh never liked her anyway. He saw things that I couldn't or didn't want to see. He's always such a good judge of character!

There is only one person that was at the wedding that I don't speak with anymore.

We were not close at all during the planning and I only invited her b/c I had a wedding 3 weeks after mine that she would be at. I would have been too uncomfortable to see her so soon after the wedding if I excluded her. Plus I love her husband to death.

Other then that, I was blessed that it went the other way for me. I have renewed and stronger friendships since the wedding.

I thought it was only us!!! Oh. I feel soooo much better, Weddings bring out the worst and the best in your friends. You learn a lot.
We're cleaning house right now. Unfortunately, it's after the wedding!
