Newlyweds...what does it mean

I am just curious of your definition of 'newlyweds' and how long you consider yourself a newlywed....what would make you no longer a newlywed?

I completely agree.....

Although I did read somewhere that the 'newlywed phase' is for the first 2 years....

That is a great way to look at it! I was going to say 1 year, but now I agree with this statement.

lol I have mine too that I never wore yet. I am still going to wear them, it's not like everyone is going to see them and tell me I can't =P

I think that you stop being a newlywed when you stop with the lovey dovey 'oh no honey, that's okay, I will wash the dishes' lol I think when it turns into 'why can't you just help me out around the house?' then you are past the 'newlywed'Stage lol

Re: Newlyweds...what does it mean

DH always says 'and the honeymoon continues' (which it does ) and I get a little note from him each morning since he leaves so early
so tho it's over 1 year, I think we're still newly weds.
