Newsday announcement

Did anyone put their wedding announcement in Newsday? I sent away for the application and I finally got it in the mail today, but it doesn't say where to send it. I am assuming I send it back to the same address. Does anyone know? Also, it didn't say anything about how much it costs. It can't really be free, right? Thanks!

yes it is FREE! and you just send it back to that address. We were so surprised that it was free, oh, but you dont get your pic back.

We did it as well, and it was free. A lady called the week before it was to appear and confirmed all the information and spelling. Ours appear the first week in July (our wedding was May 11).

Thank you so much for responding! I can't believe it is free! I'm glad they call to confirm everything too. That stinks about not getting the picture back. maybe I'll take one of my picture to Staples and have it photocopied. Thanks again!

I got married on July 6 this year is it too late to put it in. My husband and I tried to get it in the daily news but failed. What is it on in newsday and what day of the week. Can you ladies give me the information as to where to send my picture...what instructions do I have to follow.

It is in the Long Island Life section on Sunday's, but you have to submit it within 60 days of your wedding date. Tomorrow is 60 days for me. I don't know if they will even take mine. I figue it is free so i might as well try.
