NKOTB/boy bands or hair bands?

New Kids on the Block were pretty big during the hair band era- which did you prefer? (that's if you're old enough! )

I was a hair band girl ALL the way!! One of my closest friends was a NKOTB girl and she would get VERY mad at me when I made fun of them!

i loved the new kids on the block, while growing up. i still have some of theri songs in my i-pod.

rock on sista!! I'm too terrified to post my awful hair raising pics! I had a hard time having the big hair anyway- my hair is too fine.

I was split...

I loooooooooved Donnie Wahlberg and NKOTB, but Bon Jovi and Poison rocked. Plus, my brother was a full fledged 1980's heavy metal rocker--Metallica, Murphy's Law, Ozzy...so that had a definite influence...

had to say NKOTB.... I LOVED joey mcintyre! wasn't into the metal bands back in the day. i was actually more into the girl singers when i was a kid: debbie gibson, tiffany, whiteney houston, madonna belinda carlise

wow- Tara & Kath- we're the only ones that voted hair band! Whats UP with that?!!
I must admit- i haaaaaate hairbands now, Im a classic rock girl- & was the biggest 3 year old Who fan

When I was a kid I loved NKOTB but when I got older and the other boy bands came out I hated them.

I was never much into hair bands in the 80's but I love their music now!! And DH was in a hair band too!!!!
