they looked liked huge martini glasses with stones in the bottoms and some floating candle

and then the had hershey nuggest scattered around the table, ( but they had labels on the nuggets with our names and stuff)

i know you said no flowers but my mom bought stainless steel coffee carafes and had ivy and mini callas in them...

i just went to a shower and they had the cupcake stands(small ones) that you see in bedbath and beyond with different decorated cupcakes (theme related).. it was cute and yummy!!

My mom did gerbers in simple vases with bright pink linend. It amde everything look colorful and pretty.

Whats the theme of the shower? easier to find ideas that way.

We had umbrellas for the 'shower' theme - so a large umbrella was laid on the buffet table, and around the tables were scattered the colorful mini toothpick umbrellas (for drinks, but we had those everywhere).
Also, we'd used chocolates as decoration, and mini confetti with hearts.
We had candles, too

My shower was low budget ($200-300, including food that DH 'catered' himself) as I had to pay for almost everything myself.

The tables at my shower had a small vase with ivory and wine colored balloons.

My BM's made my shower a tropical/summery theme, so they had simple glass bowls fill with pretty shells and, I think they might have had floating candles too.

My sister had huge hurricane vases with a pillar candle inside and silk rose petals scattered around the base. It was an outdoor party in her backyard.

Kathryn (HamptonsBride) had posted pics of a set of three candle holders for $19.99 at BBB.

Comes with the candles, sand and shells, but you can fill the base with floating flower blossoms, or with rose petals.

We had a 'tea time' theme so the cp's were porcelian tea pots. They were really cute - a little single serving tea pot that sat on top of the tea cup.

Yes, My Shower was in October. and My SIL hollowed out pumpkins and replaced them Mums and they look beatuful.
My Sil has a wonderful way in making things look great!

The theme of my shower was shopping/shoes/martinis and my cp's were shopping bags from places I like to shop with large calla lillies in them. They looked really cute.

This was from mine (they were glass pitchers....the ones on the actual table had balloons attached...this was by my gift table)

We made baskets from bath and body works with one rubber ducky and wrapped it in celophane which was the centerpiece

we use sweat pea since the wedding colors were pink

looked awesome and everyone loved the idea!!!
