No cable/ internet :(

So last Thursday the signal for our cable went out. Time Warner can't get anyone over to look at it until Wednesday!!! We have no tv at all, can't go online, can't even go online on our phones in the house lol The only thing we can do is watch the 2 American Idols that I have dvr'd, and some baseball thing DH recorded. :(

I wound up going out friday after work and buying like 6 dvds to watch, and picking up some dinner and surprising DH with a weekend full of movie watching!

I tell you, having no tv or internet is really great. We actually TALK at the dinner table, instead of watching something while eating. I am going to be sad when the cable guy comes on Wednesday. :(

It was nice while it lasted lol

Awww, how about you make that a routine? No TV during dinner. DH always would do that at his parents. At my parents we never did that. Now if I suggest we eat in the den, he doesn't want to!

yeah, I want to make dinner time a sit down together time hehe We will see how it goes. So far it's working out that we sit at the kitchen island so we can watch the puppy so he doesn't go to the bathroom on the couch, it works for now. :)

It should be something everyone does now and then anyway to sort of reconnect with your spouse. :) It was nice!
